River of Life

Open to all youth and adults ages 6th grade and above. River of Life is an event held each fall (September 12-14, 2008) aimed at enabling youth and adults, from many different churches, to come together to express the love of Jesus Christ by ministering to the people of a particular community through exterior home repairs and improvements. In addition to being the hands and feet of Christ for three days, each night offers crazy fun, awesome speakers and most excellent worship! We will be closing each day with a worship service.
We will meet at the church at 5:30 on Friday night. The cost for the weekend is $45.
Things to bring: Work clothes, closed toed shoes, work gloves, pillow, sleeping bag, air mattress or cot if so desired (we will be sleeping on the middle school gym floor), casual, but appropriate clothes for evening activities, a friend who is looking for a fun and spiritually moving weekend, and clothes to wear for the service on Sunday.
